1) Can you tell us a bit about your journey into the beauty industry and how you decided to become a beautician?
Hey there! I’m Cristina Codreanu.I’m an international technologist in the hair reconstruction domain and an esthetician trichologist. My journey began unexpectedly and was quite a challenge. While I was studying International Relations at university, I decided to take some beauty courses on the side. At first, it was just a hobby for me. But when I noticed it was becoming successful, I decided to pursue it more seriously. Now, I’m really proud of the choice I made.
2) Every successful person faces challenges. Could you share some of the significant hurdles you encountered in your career? How did you overcome them?
I faced a lot of tough times in my career. There were moments when I felt like giving up, but when I saw lots of people needing my services, I decided it was time to tackle those challenges. I learned that no matter what hurdles you encounter in life, it’s important to keep moving forward. I believe that with faith and effort, there’s always a chance for new opportunities and success.
3) What would you consider the turning point in your career that led to your success as an award-winning beautician?
The reason I’ve been successful is that I joined lots of projects around the world and won many awards. I’m utterly ambitious and always aim to be the best at what I do. That drive has led to my achievements.
4) Can you share some of your proudest achievements or moments that stand out in your career?
I feel happy and proud about being chosen as The Best Hair Reconstruction Expert in Brazil and winning several awards at the Beauty Hair Awards competition in Russia. Now, I’m also the organiser of the Beauty Hair Awards event in the Republic of Moldova.
5) How would you describe your unique approach or style as a beautician? Are there specific techniques or philosophies that set you apart?
I’m always working on improving, and my techniques are quite distinctive from others. Making things simpler and ensuring high quality is paramount for me. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and I’m glad to be someone who contributes something valuable to it.
6) The beauty industry is dynamic and ever-evolving. How do you stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in beauty, and how do you incorporate them into your work or teachings?
I stay updated on the latest trends as I travel frequently and join events worldwide. Brazil is like a second home to me, and these experiences have provided me with great opportunities for continuous growth. Lately, I’ve been thinking about starting my own brand in the field of reconstruction.
7) Running a beauty academy and maintaining a successful career can be demanding. How do you balance your work commitments with your personal life?
Balancing work and family is tough for me. I often feel guilty about not being at home with my children, but I realise I’ve taken on a big responsibility, so staying active is necessary for me. I believe I can find a way to manage both work and family in the future.
8) What are your future plans or goals for your career as a beautician and the growth of your beauty academy?
Well, I have lots of plans for the future. I plan to open more branches internationally, and you’ll soon hear more about Cristina Codreanu.
9) What advice would you give to individuals aspiring to pursue a career in the beauty industry or open their beauty academies?
Honestly, if anyone has the desire to work in the beauty industry, I encourage them to go for it. It’s a beautiful profession. Life throws challenges at everyone, and each one must overcome with confidence and pride, just like I did. So, keep learning, keep working, and keep growing.
