- What inspired you to start your journey in body contouring and open New Body Image Lipo?
I’ve been passionate about skin and body treatments from a young age, and have always been drawn to it. Over the years, I’ve trained, worked hard, and put my heart and soul into building my business and growing my brand. I’ve spent countless hours learning and perfecting my techniques to ensure I offer the finest results for my clients.
- What are the challenges you’ve faced in building your business, and how did you overcome them?
I’ve definitely faced my fair share of challenges in business, one of the toughest times was during COVID. It profoundly hit hard, especially since many of my clients are older and had to shield, so I lost quite a few along the way. But I refused to let that stop me. I’ve stayed focused on learning and always keeping up with the latest treatments and techniques, which helps me stand out from the crowd. My biggest achievement is winning an award for the business I’ve put my heart and soul into. I used to work at a multi-award-winning salon, and I can still remember holding their awards, wishing one day it would be me. - If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself when you entered this industry?
My advice would be to go all in, stay focused on your goals, and always take people’s words with a pinch of salt, not everyone turns out to be who they seem. I’ve had my fair share of tough lessons, especially when working in other people’s salons. I’ve been through situations where my hard work wasn’t respected, clients were taken from me and I even witnessed others copy my treatments and ideas. It taught me the importance of staying true to myself, protecting what I’ve built, and always learning from every experience, good or bad.
