Can you tell us about your journey into the field of aesthetics and how you decided to pursue a career in skincare?

I started my career as a passionate nutritionist specialising in health and dietetics. I collaborated with major companies, doctors, and aestheticians, which sparked my interest in becoming an aesthetic nurse and beautician. The connection between health, nutrition, skin, and aesthetics is crucial for me. I have dedicated my life to helping people (clients) with a deep commitment and passion. After working in the industry for 20 years, I decided to become a qualified aesthetician nurse, aiming for the highest qualification in the UK. Adding value and confidence for my clients means everything to me.

What motivated you to specialise in Chanterelle Laser PDT among the various options within the aesthetic field?

I’m really impressed with the Chanterelle laser because it allows for the latest therapies in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and physiotherapy. These treatments give positive and significant results without being invasive, and they work really well, just like invasive medical treatments. The preparations and laser equipment from Chanterelle Laboratory Dermatologist have won many prestigious awards worldwide in cosmetics, dermatology, and aesthetics.

I’m amazed by Chanterelle Companies. They’ve been developing treatments and treatment devices for over 15 years, and these treatments show immediate effects right from the first applications, exceeding customer expectations. The treatments are luxurious, painless, non-invasive, and effective – a great alternative to medical therapies.

How do you personalise treatments for each client, considering that skin types and conditions vary widely?

In the first meeting with the patient, I check their skin type and condition. Then, I share with them the plan and different treatments available. I pay close attention to what the patient wants, and we mutually decide on the best procedure for them. Every person’s skin is unique, so I treat each one differently. Sometimes, I also discuss certain skin issues with doctors and colleagues in the same field for additional insights. We offer various treatments tailored to different skin concerns:
1) For young, problematic skin with rosacea and acne, we have an incredible treatment called Red Stop using Laser PDT. Each problem is individually addressed through our training with Chanterelle Companies.

2) IDEAL Pure is personalised for acne and oily skin with inflammation in acne-prone areas. It’s a year-round line of treatments with specialised preparations.

3) RETINOL PURE is designed for oily, acne-prone skin with maximum inflammatory changes, using retino peptide with the action of retinoic acid and ferulic acid.

4) LIFT PEPTANGO is for mature skin, providing lifting and modelling with the latest generation peptides in the PDF Photodynamic and manual application.

5) Meso Serum is a needleless mesotherapy treatment for mature, grey skin, offering meso-serum treatments without needles.

6) C Modular Age is for skin with discoloration and pigmentation issues. This treatment rejuvenates and depigments the skin, serving as a cure demo treatment against photo-ageing and discoloration.

Can you share a significant challenge you had to face in your journey as an aesthetician and how did you overcome it?

My toughest time was in my first year of this new career. I worked a lot, both during the day and at night. In the evenings, I took on clients to build my confidence and improve my skills to provide top-notch services. Even though I’ve only been in this industry for 2 years, things are going really well now. I’ve learned that being patient, hardworking, and professional in everything we do are the keys to success.

Aesthetic professionals often focus on the well-being of their clients. How do you prioritise self-care to maintain your well-being and ensure you can provide the best care for your clients?

We focus on our client’s well-being and beauty. Taking care of myself is a top priority for me. A healthy lifestyle, exercise, good nutrition, and diet bring radiance to our lives, giving us better energy levels that shine from the inside out. I’ve made my well-being a priority for 25 years as a nutrition coach. Good nutrients, a healthy diet, and regular exercise are crucial. Balancing my spiritual life and maintaining mental health work wonders alongside my physical health. This combination helps me be the best version of myself and set a great example. My energy level and well-being are crucial to being an excellent practitioner, allowing me to give my best to my patients and clients, and building strong relationships with them over the years.

What is your most significant professional achievement in your career so far?

One of my biggest accomplishments is graduating from well-known academies. I’ve had the opportunity to work with globally renowned doctors and practitioners in the UK and around the world. I also achieved my dream of opening my own business in the capital, like London. Running my own business means I can work on my own terms and be my own boss. I have the freedom to set unique standards for my clinic, ensuring the highest quality of treatments and services.

Another significant achievement is the chance to study abroad in East European countries. I learned different techniques and advanced aesthetics, putting me ten years ahead in the field compared to the United Kingdom. This sets me apart in the beauty and aesthetics industry.

Where do you see yourself in the next few years in your aesthetic career? Are there any specific goals or aspirations you’re aiming to achieve?

I plan to start clinics in central London, Dubai, and Spain, especially because Spain has advanced aesthetics in exotic medicine. I want to collaborate with doctors, gain more qualifications, and complete my nursing education. Being helpful to others and colleagues is important to me, as making a positive impact is just part of who I am. Other than this, I aim to start my own academy in the coming years.

Any advice for the young aestheticians struggling to make a place in this industry?

To all the budding aestheticians out there, my advice is simple: never give up, and take it one step at a time. Everything unfolds with time, and everyone’s journey is unique. Don’t compare yourself to others; remember, we’re all unique and beautiful in our own ways. Embrace your own path.
